The last weekend of February 2023 is approaching – and there are plenty of new movies and TV shows waiting for you to watch.
As usual in these installments, we’ve rounded up seven of the weekend’s most intriguing and (potentially) fun shows and movies. Unsurprisingly, Netflix dominates the list this week, but there are also entries from Prime Video, Disney Plus and Apple TV Plus. There is even one from Peacock – we know, we surprised ourselves with it.
Here are the TV shows and movies you need to stream in the next few days.
Outer Banks Season 3 (Netflix)
External Banks is one of those Netflix shows that just caught viewers’ attention when it debuted in April 2020 – and hasn’t let go since. Fans of the teen mystery drama series will be thrilled to hear that it returns for a long-awaited third season.
This time the Pogues are cut off from the titular seaside town and sail to a new island where various treasures are waiting to be discovered. However, with various enemies still on their trail and tensions within the group, External Banks season 3 promises to deliver more exciting spectacles and dramatic moments for its multi-million fan base. Don’t be surprised to see it appear on our list of the best Netflix shows soon.

Consultant (first video)
Office thrillers and black comedies are becoming an increasingly compelling part of the streaming landscape with the likes of Cutoff AND A mythical mission fascinating viewers recently.
The best movies Consultant intends to add his name to this list. Christoph Waltz stars as Mr. Patoff, a mysterious and eccentric consultant (surprise) who seemingly comes to the rescue of CompWare, an application-based company, when a merger with another organization fails. Soon, Patoff imprints his authority on CompWare employees, who are forced to meet new requirements that challenge them personally and professionally. One to add to our best Prime Video show guide? you bet.

Bel-Air season 2 (Peacock)
The new prince of Bel-AirThe drama-fueled reboot of the 21st century returns with a second season on Peacock this weekend.
After the dramatic end of the first season, BelAirIn the next installment, Will tries to navigate all aspects of his life while also finding himself challenged as new characters come into the picture and start trying to influence the young man he should be. Interestingly, Tatyana Ali – who played the role of Ashley The new prince of Bel-Air – will make regular guest appearances in BelAir season 2. Fans of the original might want to check this one out to see how it fits into the equation.
The first episode of Bel-Air season 2 is now available to stream on Peacock in the US, with new episodes arriving every Thursday. UK viewers can watch the series via Sky and Now TV.
Die Hart (main video)
After the success of Nicolas Cage with metacomedy The unbearable weight of a great talentit was Kevin Hart’s turn to play a fictionalized version of himself in the film.
This is the basic premise Die Hart, in which Hart plays a character trying to change his career from comedy winger to the world’s biggest action movie star. John Travolta, Nathalie Emmanuel, Josh Hartnett and Jean Renno are among the film’s supporting actors.
If Die HartThe title rings a bell as it was originally a 10-episode Quibi TV show. With the demise of that streaming service, Amazon repurposed Die Hart for the Prime Video audience, turning the TV show into a full-length movie. We’re not sure why either, but we’ll keep adding Die Hart to our new Prime Video list. Don’t expect it to squeeze into our best Prime Video article, though.
Now available to watch worldwide on Prime Video.
Connector (Apple TV Plus)
The Apple TV Plus is finally being recognized as a big player in the streaming scene. And, like his contemporaries, he explains this success by expanding and giving the green light to more foreign-language productions.
The latest of these projects is Communication, a six-episode French-English original series starring Eva Green and Vincent Cassel, among others. It is described as a high-stakes contemporary espionage thriller that explores “how the mistakes of our past can destroy our future, combining action with an unpredictable, layered plot where espionage and political intrigue play out against a story of passionate and enduring love.”
Could it make it to our top Apple TV Plus shows? It’s certainly possible, but we need to see all six episodes first before we can make a judgment.
The first episode of Liaison is available now on Apple TV Plus, with new episodes debuting on the streamer every Friday.
Fleishman’s in Trouble (Disney Plus)
After debuting on Hulu in the US last November, Fleishman is in trouble finally made its way to Disney Plus in international territories.
In the drama miniseries, Jesse Eisenberg stars as Toby Fleishman, a 41-year-old divorcee who has found dating success among many dating apps around the world. But when his ex-wife Rachel (Claire Danes) disappears, Toby is left with Hannah and Solly’s children, potentially jeopardizing his chances of sexual freedom and promotion at work.
Fleishman is in trouble was positively received upon its initial release in late 2022, so viewers outside of the United States should find plenty to enjoy. Look out for it soon on our list of the best Disney Plus shows.
All eight episodes can be watched on Disney Plus in the UK and internationally, as well as on Hulu in the US.
We Got Ghost (Netflix)
It wouldn’t be a weekly TechRadar streaming list without a new Netflix movie to watch, right?
This week’s entry is here We have spiritfamily comedy-horror film based on a short story by Geoff Manaugh entitled Ernest. When Kevin (Marvel star Anthony Mackie) and his family discover their new home is haunted by a ghost named Ernest (Stranger thingsDavid Harbour), set up a YouTube channel and turn themselves and Ernest into superstars overnight. However, when Kevin and Ernest begin to uncover the truth behind the latter’s death, the CIA pursues them. Yes, we have no idea why either.
Certainly a potential entry on our list of Netflix’s best movies, so we hope it doesn’t confuse other Netflix original movies that haven’t garnered much attention from viewers.
